Christopher Creek Station #51

This station houses E-511, WT-511 and R-511 along with the offices and training center. This station was built by the good people of Christopher Creek circa 1980.

Engine E-511

This unit carries 1000 gallons and provides seating for an engineer and 4 SCBA outfitted firefighters. E-511 carries complete extrication equipment and it was the first new piece of apparatus ever purchased! We took delivery of E-511 on March 15th, 1996.

Water Tender
WT-511

This tender is a 2008 Ford F-750 turbo-charged diesel engine that holds 2000 gallons of water. The extended cab on this truck gives us plenty of room for our gear or extra personnel. We also carry SCBA’s on this unit for initial attack on fires, both structural and wildland fires. We can pump and roll with this tender.

This beauty was built in Phoenix to our specs.

Rescue R-511

This unit is a 2004 Ford F-350 with a turbo powerstroke diesel engine. We took delivery of this vehicle October 29, 2004 and drove it back from Kansas. It is the department's second new vehicle purchased. It even has automatic tire chains for extreme winter driving conditions.

Rescue R-511 Interior view.

This rescue unit is one of the best equipped units in the area complete with Advanced Life Support (ALS). We are extremely proud to have this unit available for the district! EMS responses within the communities and along the highway comprise the leading calls for our district!
